Meet The Team

Worcester creative, websites and print modus is a full-service creative led design and print agency based in Farrier Street in Worcester; we’ve been creating highly successful, integrated design and marketing campaigns, websites and print media for local, national and international clients since 2006.

Simply put, we believe in honesty.
We believe in finding the simple USP of a brand and letting that guide us in everything we do.
When we understand your business we can connect with consumers and customers.
We work until we find the best answer.
We listen, discuss, disagree, laugh, argue, joke and we collaborate until we have a solution.
We work with our clients not just for them

Clare joined the Modus family in September 2018 and is the self appointed quotation queen.  If you want a quote there is nobody who can produce a quote faster!  Clare works on marketing projects specifically researching SEO and producing great copy that gets you found on Google.  She’s a straight talker and we love her never failing ability to make things happen.  Heavy metal is her music of choice, medieval history is her passion and, being a slave to fashion, she has a weakness for anything by Alexander McQueen.

What can we say about the boss?!  Guy is creative, dynamic, colourful and massively passionate about everything we do here at Modus.  He is brand mad and as we build brands and re-brand our clients it’s important that our own brand is powerful and successful.  His talents aren’t just confined to the business, in the kitchen he is an excellent chef (his own words) and after failing to make it as a rock ‘n’ roll star he decided to hang up his guitar and focus on the ukulele, we haven’t been treated to a rendition yet.

Tim Howen

Tim Howen

Creative Director & Studio Manager

Tim is our creative director and tends to work on BIG projects, brands and product design.  With a Mac and a mouse Tim can make the dullest packaging look bright and can take the drab brand and get it noticed for all the right reasons.  He’s also quite handy if you need a desktop cosmetic surgeon for instant teeth whitening for your headshots!  There’s nothing that Tim likes more than beat boxing with his dog and to let his hair down he enjoys mountain biking along muddy tracks –  it’s a boy thing

Digital Designer & Nettl Manager

Emily takes multi-tasking to a whole new level and is our oracle – there is nothing that Emily cannot do, she is wonder woman!  Not only is she responsible for a terrifying sales target through our Nettl franchise but she builds and maintains websites for clients.  With an energy that knows no bounds Emily keeps us all positive and focussed on what we need to do as a team.  She’s rather partial to a bag of Haribos and if there’s a hippie festival going on, she’ll be there.

Graphic Designer

Paula is the person that every business needs when the going gets tough.  Calm, patient and a steady pair of hands, she produces great design and artwork and has an amazing ability to zone out all distractions except if there’s cake in the office!  She likes to plug in her headphones into drum and base if she really needs to concentrate – each to their own! Paula loves walking, we’re talking sponsored type walking, and she’ll go off to the Peak District and other remote places to get away from it all.  Worth mentioning that she does make a great cuppa.

Sam keeps us on the straight and narrow when it comes to money.  She is tolerant of our creative ways and does a great job of restoring order although she can be a bit strict, it’s all for our own good though.  Sam loves to escape the UK and plans exciting holidays, sometimes she actually goes on them as well, and she also loves films and socialising.  She’s an 80s girl at heart and although she doesn’t have the big hair anymore, she does like a bit of Kajagoogoo.
