Pupils from Tudor Grange Academy – dubbed the Little Warriors – are hosting the special Worcester versus The Army game at Sixways (Wednesday 7th March 2012) with help from modus creative, the official Creative Partner of Warriors.

Students from the city school have been taking part in a fantastic project this year that will culminate in seeing them deliver a match day with a difference at Sixways and also help raise funds for two charities – Worcester Warriors Community Foundation and SSAFA Forces.

The project has seen pupils split into groups that cover every aspect of the club – such as Corporate Hospitality, Fundraising and Operations – and the Media & Marketing team have also been supported by modus creative, based on Foregate Street in Worcester.

The students were given a special tour of modus to discover all the design, publishing and marketing services they offer and creative solutions they could use across a range of media to promote the project – known as Little Warriors Invade Sixways!

The children have then worked hard to not only produce match day posters but also a special match day programme that will be sold around the stadium on Wednesday night for just £2 with all profits going to the charities.

Guy Marson, Creative Director at modus, said: “It has been great for modus to be involved with this Tudor Grange Little Warriors Invade Sixways project; all of the modus design team have welcomed the opportunity to show this local group of schoolchildren what really goes into a marketing and design project and to spend some time demonstrating how things really work.

“The Media & Marketing group we have worked with have been great fun, rising to the challenges we have set them and they have been interested and enthusiastic along the way.

“As a business, modus are very active in fundraising and supporting local charities and are delighted to be involved. The Little Warriors certainly invaded Modus and I think they have produced some brilliant ideas that we have helped to turn into reality.”
