Modus Digital is looking for a new web developer to join their exciting, and rapidly expanding digital agency based in the centre of Worcester.
Front-end web developer/development including;
Advanced use of HTML and CSS
Some backend development
Liaising directly with clients to resolve issues.
Setting up or administering web hosting.
Answering website enquiries via telephone and email.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about web development and online solutions, and someone who keeps up to date with the latest technological developments. We are looking for a team player who is happy to step up to new challenges and use their initiative. Some flexible working may be required, and the ideal candidate will be someone who relishes a challenge and is happy to think laterally in order to overcome obstacles. We are looking for someone with a friendly, out-going manner who is happy working as part of a larger team of likeminded people.
Reporting to: The company director.
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week permanent employment. Flexible working hours may be an option if necessary.
Salary: £20,000 to £25,000 depending on experience.
Probation: there will be a 6 month probation period.
Start date: As soon as possible

Experience in PHP web development
Experience of content management system.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.Ability to think creatively for solutions that at first may not be obvious.
Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with clients and suppliers.
Ability to operate effectively under pressure and to deal with frequent interruptions.
Ability to work effectively under own initiative with minimum supervision, as well as being a willing and proactive team member. This includes the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and other contacts and a collaborative approach.
A keenness to keep up to date with the latest technological advancements in both hardware and software.
Experience in modern web design.
Knowledge of web hosting platforms.
Relevant industry experience.
A degree or equivalent in Web Development or a related subject.
